Welcome to Maritime Risk Claim Solutions, Inc. 5th Annual Maritime Education Seminar and 4th Annual Cook Off for a Cause
Each year MRCS provides continuing, practical, hands-on education to all involved in the maritime industry.
This year’s topics will encompass post casualty repairs from a Hull & Machinery marine surveyor’s perspective.
The audience will here from US Coast Guard professionals, a third party auditor, a maritime attorney and insurance producer addressing none conformities and how it may affect insurance policy coverage.
We will have a pollution consultant educate the audience on practical pollution spill clean-up.
Lunch Presentation will be a 1- hour presentation on ethics.
The second half of the day will be dedicated to procedures and possible issues when chartering marine equipment. The afternoon will commences with marine surveyors outlining procedures on conducting on and off charter surveys. Following this presentation, a maritime attorney and marine insurance adjuster will educate the audience on charter contracts, and areas that could affect marine insurance policies.
To finalize the day, we will have a mock mediation concerning an on charter of a vessel and its insurance coverage.
